Adoption is a step of faith, and one we can’t take alone. God has carried us this far with His steady faithfulness, and now we step forward with hope for the next child He has for our family. Your support helps make that possible, and we’re deeply grateful you’d consider being part of our journey.
How Our Journey Started
Our journey of building our family has had its difficulties. We went through fertility treatments for three years. After so many doctor visits, medications and procedures followed by disappointment, we had made the difficult decision to pause treatments.
Meanwhile, God was at work, and surprised us with the miracle of our first daughter, Elena. And then a year and half later, our second daughter, CeCe, was born.
Sweet CeCe's Legacy
When CeCe was born with complex medical needs, life didn't look the way we imagined. Everyday, sometimes moment by moment, was a test on our faith, but it taught us more than we ever expected about what it means to love unconditionally.
CeCe's time with us was far too short, but her life was full of purpose. Her life was a testimony to us of how to be brave, resilient, and to trust God even when it didn’t make sense.
Choosing Adoption
Later, when we learned that Ryan's genetics were the cause of CeCe's diagnosis, we knew having more biological children was a risk we weren’t willing to take. That was a hard reality to face, but it also brought clarity.
Adoption, which had been a "maybe one day" thought early in our journey, became the step we knew we were ready for. We opened our hearts, prepared our home, and we were approved to apply to agencies in February 2025.
God's Perfect Timing
We got the call on a Friday morning that would change everything. When Ryan answered and they told him the news, he quickly called Audrey with intense excitement: "A birth mother chose us!"
We are thrilled to be parents again, and this time to a little boy! And while there are undoubtedly many more unknowns, decisions, and expenses ahead, we know God has written our story thus far, and the best is yet to come."
